What We Do

Coding for Veterans helps Canada’s military veterans to retrain and reskill for jobs in Canada’s tech sector. If there is a “secret sauce,” it’s our personal approach. We help Canada’s war heroes to retrain in one of two programs

1) Software Development
2) Cyber Security.

Projected Tech Job Openings in Canada

At Coding For Veterans, we work with key stakeholders – particularly Veterans Affairs Canada and the Canadian Armed Forces – in order to identify candidates for the Coding For Veterans program. Once prospective students engage through the C4V website and submit their resume, they are invited to complete the online intake assessment that provides feedback on cognitive, motivation and personality factors pertaining to a career in Software Development or Cybersecurity.

Coding for Veterans together with industry partners have established a program to teach computer software development skills along with advanced program course work in the areas of cyber security to the men and women from Canada’s armed forces. It is an intensive program designed to equip veterans from the Canadian military with the skills required to enter and succeed in Canada’s technology-based workforce.
